Hi! I'm Ashley Ryan.

I've worked in marketing for touring Broadway shows for about 5 years, and long before that, I spent some very formative years going to pop-punk/emo shows. Some of my favorite bands being: My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, and AFI. At a time when I felt very sad and alone, I finally "found my tribe", so to speak, and began going to shows almost every weekend. Some friends introduced me to a local Chicago band called 2*Sweet. They had a  unique sound that they coined 'Doom-Pop'. Friends and I began going to an obscene amount of their shows and following them as they toured the country.

I found this band (and friends) at a time I was very unhappy and thought my life was destined to be sad, boring, and ordinary. Then I met these people who were not taking the "traditional path". They made enough money to get from one place to the next playing music, and this way of life seemed so freeing. The band broke up not that long after I graduated college, almost signifying to me that it was time to grow up. I went on my way, ultimately finding my way to marketing for performing arts and I couldn't be happier with how my career and life are turning out. Now, more than 10 years later, I decided to combine my two great loves, musical theatre and pop-punk/emo music.

It's going to be a long journey, but I am ready for it. I'm excited to work on something that has meant so much to me. And sure, in some ways, it's a tribute to this band, but I think in more ways it is a tribute to my younger self. I know I made her proud and built a life and career that has been anything but sad, boring, and ordinary.
